We choose to use Hemp Seed Oil and other bi-products from the hemp plant in our products for many reasons. Hemp seed oil is very high in Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and amino acids so it is great for the hair and skin. It is also absorbed easily and is non-comedogenic (doesn't cause your skin to breakout) so it is versatile ingredient that has benefits in most cosmetic product preparations. We also believe that hemp is the future for a sustainable world, 1 ton of this amazing plant removes 1.63 tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere which is more than trees or any plant of the same size. It also requires less water to grow and is naturally resistant to insect pests and predators so it doesn't require pesticides or herbicides during cultivation. Manday is proud to work with local hemp farmers in Alberta and Saskatchewan to source quality hemp that is organically grown right in our own backyard.
